Iced Tea Recipes

Classic Ice

  1. 4 teabags or teaspoons of loose tea, any variety.
  2. 4 cups water, heated to boiling.
  3. Sugar to taste,
  4. Fresh mint sprig, for garnish.
  5. Lemon wedge, for garnish.

Sun Tea

  1. Fill a 2 quart container with cold water.
  2. Add 4-5 teabags or teaspoons of loose tea.
  3. Stir and cover loosely.
  4. Place in full sun light for 3-4 hours according to the desired tea strength.
  5. Store in a clean container and chill.
  6. Add sugar and lemon to taste and serve over ice.

Ice Orange Spice Tea

  1. 6 cups iced Market Spice Cinnamon Orange Tea make by desired method.
  2. 3/4 cup orange liqueur.
  3. Mix and serve over ice garnish with orange slices.

Ice Mint Tea

  1. 3 teabags or teaspoons of loose Market Spice Northwest Breakfast Tea.
  2. 1/2 tsp. dried Mint leaves.
  3. Pour 2-1/2 cups boiling water over ingredients.
  4. Cover and steep 4 minutes. Strain and chill.
  5. Add sugar or honey to taste.
  6. Serve over ice garnish with fresh mint.

Ice Berry Spice Tea

  1. 3 teabags or teaspoons of loose tea Market Spice Northwest Breakfast, Black Currant, or your favorite flavor of fruit-flavored tea.
  2. *3 Cinnamon Sticks *15 Whole Cloves
  3. *1-1/2 cups cranberry juice *1/3 cup sugar *3 tsp. lemon
  4. Pour 3 cups boiling water over tea.
  5. Steep for 5 minutes and strain.
  6. Add cinnamon sticks and cloves.
  7. Cover and let stand until cool.
  8. Strain and add remaining ingredients.
  9. Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices.
